Den Bliek was a former pumping station. The lot would be sold to a person chosen by the jury. 

Our client wanted to have a house for his family and a common place for the neighborhood as well.

To hightlight the typical architectural elements from the 30's and 50's even more, we wanted to make the original windows back in the buildings. We also planned to make a third volume in between the two excisting buildings. We chose for an independent volume to give every building it's own time period.

Sadly, our project did not win. However, this project was a unique experience.
