"As an interior designer, it’s a challenge to combine innovative design with sustainable materials, facing climate change."

Emma

I create your place, your interior, your home, in the perspective of a healthy future for everyone."

Welcome to my website, I am Emma Cosyns.

I am an enthusiastic and motivated young woman from Belgium with a passion for interior design, architecture, urbanism and landscaping. Trying to avoid the average and searching for a twist. Always aiming to contribute to society and a more sustainable lifestyle that offers solutions for current and future problems.

Designing and being creative has always been a big part of my daily life. As a child, I started building houses and interiors with Playmobil. Becoming a teenager, the computer game The Sims made me go for wilder designs. For me, it was clear I wanted to do something with interior and architecture.

Studying Economics-Mathematics in high school, I missed being creative. In 2018 I started educating Interior Design at KASK, Ghent. As focus, I chose 'Concept & space'. In September 2020, I started an internship at Standard Studio in Amsterdam for almost half a year. I am thankful for this experience of working abroad.

In 2021 I started a new education: BIM (Building Information Model) at Syntra West, Bruges. Learning more about all the technical aspects of a building and Revit was a good complement. But I missed the creativity and having an impact on people's lives. In combination with my love for nature and wanting to design on a bigger scale I applied for admission for the pre-master Urbanism and Landscape Architecture at the AHK, Amsterdam. In February I finished the pre-master successfully.

We live in a hectic society, we are longing for rest... Let me help you to find that quiet spot by creating a balanced and functional interior. An affordable creative design with sustainable materials because everybody deserves their place. Take a look at my projects, hopefully, you will like them. Questions or contact me? Click here.
